SHSU Sigma Chi Paddle

Apparently fraternity paddles were a big thing at one time.  We're not sure the year on this one but we do know 1) that Little Brother Jim dedicated it to Big Brother Alton according to the reverse, and 2) there is little wear from use (...).  On the obverse are the Greek letters Sigma Chi (ΣΧ) and the chapter designation, Epsilon Psi.

The Caballeros, one of the men's social group that were active on campus during the 1950s, became members of the Epsilon Psi chapter when it was founded on February 11, 1961.
